This was the start of MY BAD WEEK!!

Exceeded your Bandwidth???? Ok being new to hosting my own site I really didn’t understand what this meant, I had received this as an email from my d9hosting account.

I know that once I go over my download limit my computer goes on a go slow as it reverts back to dial up speed, should I really say “speed”?? as you might as well write a letter if you are on dial up.

Ok not too sure as to what bandwidth was I tried to bring up my page
OMG…………………..Error page, I guessed that bandwidth was really important now as my page was gone.

Ever Had This same Feeling?

I felt like Mr Bean in a panic, I was scouring my email trying to figure out how to fix it when I saw, “do not reply to this email”?? as we won’t get it.

I found it….”submit a ticket”… So off I went and submitted a ticket, it was early Sunday morning here in Australia and my hosting guys are in England, so for sure I thought it would be at least Tuesday my time before my page would be back up.

I was so depressed so I went to play with my kids instead to save myself sitting checking my emails every 5 minutes.

I came back to my computer a few hours later to my surprise there was an email from Dan Thompson of D9hosting.

My site was back up….It was Sunday…..Do these people take any time out?. Don’t get me wrong I was over the moon that my site was back up just very impressed with both Dan Thompson and Paula Brett for the instant reply.

These guys are amazing. I was back to being Happy Again..

About a year ago I decided I was going to make a site and host it, as before I had only used blogger and the free wordpress platform, so I then had the problem of finding a hosting company.

Not knowing my ass from my elbow I decided the best bet was to go for a company in Australia, cause if anything went wrong I could ring them in my time frame.

BIG MISTAKE.

I paid for a full year and logged into the account…..

NO C PANEL??????….not that I had any experience just that everything that had to be done was in a list. So I got my friend to log in and talk me through what to do. I came across a couple of questions as I had been through the FAQ’s about 10 times and still couldn’t make sense of their explanation.

So I decided to log a ticket…. I waited and waited, I twiddled my thumbs and still waited, 2 days later I got the reply……………………

They copied the answer to my question from the FAQ page……………NOT HAPPY JAN!!!

Seriously if you are looking for Hosting you cannot go wrong with Dan Thompson and Paula Brett of D9hosting.
