So far I have written 3 simple step by step tutorials, I decided to make a new page under How To….? called “How To Free Pdf’s“, this is where I will be adding to each time I make a new tutorial, each of the e-books are free and will open automatically inside your browser, you can select save a copy and save it to your computer.
My to do list for yesterday was to finish a tutorial on “how to make a screen shot” then to visit everyones’ blogs who have left a comment on my blog, only I didn’t get round to it yesterday.
I have just completed my e-book on “how to upload images and e-books using filezilla“ and am now working on a step by step tutorial for Sarah and Jeffrey on how to put an image in the side bar of your wordpress blog…….Once I complete this tutorial I will then visit everyones blogs and add you to my blogroll, I want to thank you all for your comments
It took me so long this morning responding to everyones comments, so I have decided that in future I will make a full post and address each one in the one post, hopefully this will save me a bit of time.
Jeffrey the image of Alex’s e-book is in your members area, download the image, then just follow the steps in the “how to upload images and e-books pdf” I intend to have the next pdf finished by the end of today which will follow on from this one, I tried to break up each tutorial so people don’t end up suffering with information overload, each of the pdf’s are very short and mostly step by step pictures.
I have just finished “how to insert an image in the sidebar of a wordpress blog” hopefully this will clear up some confusion for you Sarah and Jeffrey and anyone else who is having trouble with this. You will be able to download it from a link on the “how to Free Pdf’s” section under How To’s……..? I am a little too tired at the moment to make an e-book cover for this
Nighty Night
Thanks for reading

Hi Tara,
I’m a fellow student of the ‘Fortunate 500′, just doing a bit of oil-rig hopping.
Thanks for creating all the useful content on your blog.
I’ll be returning on a regular basis for further help.
I see you have a steadily growing blogroll. You may be unaware that Google may take offence at your list of names and give you a ‘Google Slap’.
In order to make sure Google doesn’t there’s a simple way to prevent this. I’ve written a post on my blog all about it.
Please hop over and tell me what you think of my blog sometime.
To your success,
Dave

Hi Tara,
Can you help me please?
I’m trying to create a PDF version of Alex’s List Building With Alex.
I’m using OpenOffice3.0 to create the PDF – however I’m having problems with the Title of the ebook being the long Description across the top of Adobe when it opens – instead of Alex_book.pdf.
I hope this is making sense.
How did you create your e-books?
Thanks for your help.
To your success.

Hiya Dave,
One question….when you convert it in open office do you have settings on the pdf? so you can edit the Title etc, maybe all you need to do is to go in and edit the title inside the pdf itself? could be worth a try.
I sent you an email regarding your post, if you didn’t get it I will post my reply here for you and also at your blog, send me your word doc, I will convert it for you for speed, I haven’t used open office for a while, but if you want your pdf up and running I will do it for you, I will then go and make a tutorial for you using open office
I will be at your blog soon to leave this message
Take Care

Hi Tara, It’s been quite a while I dropped by. Thanks for the great tutorials on putting image at the sidebar. Very details with step by step screenshots. You rock. If at anytime you want recommendations, thumbs up from me.
The reason I lag behind is I have all sorts of problem with firefox. You see my blog theme was broken and grey in background. I tms to you in twitter. Don’t know if you remember but you recommended to change the theme but I didn’t. I found the bug and fix it. The problem was the opt-in html font and size was previously too long. Dragging across my two side bar causing the theme broken. So, I decided enough was enough. Read your tutorials on the image at sidebar and whoailah. Fix it. So happy and relief. Thank you so much.
Anyway,I am still behind in making slide video. Put it bluntly, I have not started. Don’t feel sorry for me. I was doing too much and most of the time is fixing problems. Now that my problems has solved, It’s time to start on the slide video project. I will let you know about it.
I will be putting your blog link on my next post. So, feel free to drop by and you will be very proud thaT A NEWBIE like me learn so much from you. I hope you be proud.
Thanks Tara.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey

Hi Tara,
At last, I have completed a simple window video maker. I was so excited that I quickly upload to youtube but the problem is that I don’t know how to do upload. I have an account with youtube. I was able to save the upload but it shows failed to convert to video files. Can you share with me how did you upload your slide to youtube. Be the way, my screen resolution for the video recommend for 1024×768 or higher. Currently, my screen resolution is 800×600 or less.
Anyway, I want to thank you for your PDF tutorial. It was so details that even dummies can get it done. Thumbs up to you. I will put your link again in my next post. Okay, I am back to scratching my head on how to upload the video to youtube.
Thanks again.
You are a brilliant teacher.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey
