Today we had a guest speaker on the webinar with Alex Jeffreys, her name is Maria Andros and believe me todays call was FANTASTIC. My arm was aching from scribbling down masses of notes.
Who is Maria Andros?? she is also know as “The Video Marketing Queen” visit her site to hear lots more about her 
Maria introduced herself…..Wow what a Voice
Before the internet Maria was a make-up artist.
She also has a successful background as a Real Estate Investor.
She started her Ebay business and completely dominated her niche market generating just under six figures yearly as a hobby.
After leaving the Rat Race she extended her skills to video, using Youtube as her main traffic source. Providing people with helpful information that they can implement and move forward, which lead her followers to love her
As a newbie to video marketing she made a 6 figure income in her first year….Don’t you just love success stories like this….
On the call today with Alex Jeffreys Maria gave us a step by step walk through on video marketing, tips and tricks and how to’s which were packed with valuable information.
The way she talks…..she holds you at your computer screen wanting to learn, today she had a slide show running which she talked us though you couldn’t actually see her face but you could imagine her smiling, she is a pleasure to listen to and she gets straight to the point. Maria is a True Motivator and made me smile several times throughout her interview….Well Done Maria I really enjoyed your Interview on todays show with Alex Jeffreys, and believe that the rest of the students would totally agree Great Call!!
What did I learn from Maria?
That Video has phenomenal reach across the entire globe and you are able to establish your credibility as an expert fast.
Introduce yourself…..the introduction is the most important part.
To be yourself …….as people do business with people they like.
People hate to be sold to…so giving valuable information freely will gain respect and followers.
Content is King……………Keywords are Queen, a very true Statement.
Maria touched on keyword research which soon I will be making step by step slides for those who are very new to it along with another pdf to help anyone out who is stuck, this has been on my to do list but wasn’t set at a priority thats why I haven’t got around to it yet……………….but its COMING!
At the end of the show Alex set up 3 more Competitions, which have huge prizes.
The first Competition is paying $3000 Wow Alex is so generous
The second and third competition are both paying $1500
I just hope I can work out Camtasia before the competitions end on the 2nd Feb 2009.

You don’t need luck with Camtasia, it’s easy to fiddle around with.
You’ll have more trouble finding a quiet space to speak through without background noises and echoes creating some static.

This was a great post… very detailed. The description you gave is perfect as in the way the call went last night. Maria is definitely a walking Video knowledge bank. She did have great voice and the confidence that came across was excellent. She has exactly what it takes to be successful… and you do too!! You just need to do the videos and not worry about what they sound like (your voice is who you are!!!)… I have no doubt they will be perfect!!!

That is a great recount of Maria’s talk with Alex. You took better notes than I did so thanks, I picked up a couple of things here.
Actually Tara. I think you and Maria where cast in the same mould.
I can see you in the same position Maria is in insde 12 months.
i.e; earning 6-7 figure monthly income.

I am drooling just reading your post about Maria. God, she is a god video queen from the way you introduced her. I missed out on the session. Can’t wait to get my hand on the session today.
Like Robin said, just be yourself when you do the recording. She is successful as she is confident of herself. So do you. Just let your confidence shows when you do your video. Wow, we are going to be acting in videos. I am just as excited as you are.

Great post on Maria:)
You are right, Maria has a great speaking voice and I can easily understand how she makes so much money coaching other people.
One thing that you left out of your post, was the “hint” of something New to come. Actually it was Alex that let that one slip…but he didn’t give the secret away…I wish he had though:)
Tara, if learning Camtasia is a worry, why not take the free trial with TrafficGeysar for only $1 ? They have an absolute TON of Videos that teach you everything you could possibly want to learn about Video marketing. They even have Videos showing you which is the best Camera to use.
I joined last week and the more I learn from this site, the more I like the program, This is where I will be focusing my attention in 2009…Video Marketing!
By the way, I have added you to my “Students Of Alex Jeffreys” blogroll and I would appreciate it, if you added me to yours.

Thanks for your post and yes I will definitely check it out, I have always wanted to do video, but with everything else I had actually put it at the bottom of my to do list, then after listening to Maria I wanted to kick myself LOL.
