Hi Everyone
Today I was going to upload all the screen shots of how to make a video to promote your site using windows movie maker, this is still on my list and will be coming later today, I was just reading Garry Parkes’s blog and wanted to give you his video as it is Fantastic, He walks you through all the free tools to download along with step by step instructions to walk you through completing your very own video.
Enjoy
I was a little lost at how to add the viddler video to my blog, as I have the youtube plug in which is very easy to use, so it was test time:-
First I went to viddler and found the video, below the video are some options
I clicked on Embed this
A pop up appeared with extra options
I selected to use the wordpress code, only on the preview it showed up as only a link ![]()
So then I selected standard html code and left all the other settings as the default
I copied and pasted the code into my post above
Voila I did It!!
Really helpful Video Garry Well Done!! and you say you are a newbie at this!

Hi Tara!
I like the look of your blog! Love it!
Is the picture on the top right a shot from where you live?
Embedding a video is all a mater of cutting and pasting the html code onto the one you have on your site. WordPress gave me problems about this too so I just grabbed the embed code and pasted it straight into the html code of my wordpress editor. And it worked.
If anybody has a question or something to share, you’re invited to leave a comment on my blog or send me a tweet on Twitter.
All the best!

Hi Erwin thanks for your comment,
The photos are automatic from google, it is set up in the theme I am using by Vladimir Prelovac, I am still trying to work out how to add my own photos in the script to show in the top corner.

Hey Tara
Sorry about earlier on about Twitter, and mistaking your name as Taradi. Anyway, it’s great to see that you’ve got yout blog up and running so well done on that.
Also I like to congratulate you on creating videos using Powerpoint and Movie Maker as well as using Camtasia. I’m more of a Powerpoint/Movie Maker /Animoto person. Just wondering did you check out my videos page as well? I’ve made a few for Garry Parkes so if you want to check them out, please feel free to do so and I’d appreciate any comments you have.
Just wondering have you done anything on traffic yet as Alex was talking about it in the brainstorming session yesterday. If you have then great stuff, but if you’ve been busy with Christmas and everything, then it’s till kool as Alex has extended the traffic competition deadline.
Anyway all the best
Catch up with you later on twitter!
Nigel
PS: Will add you to my blog roll after this comment

Hi Tara,
Love the blog layout.
I’ve finally managed to get to your site after my chilling-out period over Christmas.
Glad you liked the Camstudio video and worked out how to embed it on your site. It was my first video I ever did and I did it ages ago now (well it seems like ages, but it’s probably only about a month or so ago, LOL).
I see you have been blogging for a while with your posts going back to Feb 2008. I’m just ploughing through a lot of the stuff now and your journey certainly makes an interesting read.
Oh, I notice you’re not on my mammoth Alex Jeffreys Student Blogroll. If you want to be added am doing my last update for a while soon, so have a look at my FAQ page if you are interested. Anyway back to putting the finishing touches to my free Profit Pulling Project Newsletter second issue which is coming out very soon.
